Health, Taken Seriously

I netflixed a documentary called Home last week.  It was produced by the same people that made the Discovery series Planet Earth (something we love to watch as a family).  I watched the movie over the course of several sittings, often with my 4 year old.  The cinematography is breathtaking and the pace of the film is calming.  It starts off with a history of Earth and incredible shots that looks like they may have been taken millions of years ago.  The film follows the evolution of earth and what happens when humans enter the picture.  It is compelling and saddening and encouraging all at once.  Definitely worth watching, especially with your children.  It sparked many great conversations with my son about how we can conserve and have less of a negative impact on earth.
