I am typically not a big fan of juice. Even 100% juice lacks many of the nutrients that can be found in whole fruit, especially fiber. However, once in a while, I love to juice at home. We have a juicer that we got as a wedding gift and whenever we have an abundance of fruit and a cold going around the house, we take it out. The thing I like is adding ingredients my kids might not necessarily consume if it weren’t hidden in a juice blend–lemons, raw carrots, etc. Here is a picture of the orange, carrot, apple juice we made this morning. It tastes as good as it looks!
