Can you believe Christmas is 3 days away? This is just a small post to remind you that one way you can reduce waste this Christmas is to open your gifts carefully, so as not to rip the wrapping paper. This way it can be reused again next year. My mother is very frugal and for as long as I can remember, we did this to save money. But if you receive a gift in non-recyclable wrapping paper, might as well try to get another use or two out of it before throwing it away. My three year old can do it so I’m sure you can too! Many ribbons, bows, and giftbags with tissue paper can also be reused so make sure to save them as well. We have a big tupperware in our basement filled with such materials and I always check there first before wrapping a gift.
