Low sugar desserts

Everyone deserves some dessert once in a while, but most are very high in sugar.  If you’re looking for something to satisfy your sweet tooth, consider So Delicious soy ice cream.  I’ve loved this stuff for a while now and while it tastes just as sweet as regular ice cream, the Chocolate Velvet only has 14 grams of sugar per serving (for reference, our tart plain yogurt has 17 g per serving).   Another great find comes from Trader Joe’s–chocolate covered soybeans with only 13 g of sugar per servings.  They call them Dark Chocolate Edamame, and if you like salty and sweet, like chocolate covered pretzels, you’ll probably love these.  What other kind of desert has 7 grams of protein and 5 grams of fiber per serving?
